Job DescriptionThe Product Manager 2 - Inventory Movement is a key member of the Nordstrom Product Management team, championing the customer experience evolution through data-driven insights using a variety of qualitative and quantitative inputs and delivering key features, functionality and programs for Nordstrom. Within Inventory Movement, this means the systems and processes that move product across the network — including transfers, returns, and RTVs — from origin to destination. Product Management is responsible for making sure we build the right products and features for our customers and business. To accomplish that, product managers plan the product roadmap and prioritize the applicable technology backlog, lead product discovery, and measure and communicate results of the feature portfolio in production, all while ensuring stakeholder alignment.A day in the life…Work with manager to develop the following;Measure and monitor key KPI performance for product epics and specific featuresDevelop improvement plans for key KPI degradation across inventory movement flowsLeverage internal KPIs and operational data to identify and implement feature opportunities that improve how inventory moves across the networkPrioritize features and develop quarterly priorities and annual backlogPartner cross-functionally with UX, Research, Engineering, Stores, and Supply Chain & Returns Operations on feature designWork with engineering during feature development to ensure feature objectives are maintained across upstream and downstream systemsPartner with cross-functional business and product teams to translate requirements into clear, actionable product specificationsDevelop a/b testing plan with analyticsYou own this if you have…4+ years of product management or equivalent experience with technology, ecommerce, or supply chain/logistics company preferredBachelors’ degree in math, statistics, finance, economics, or related quantitative discipline is preferredBasic ability to define, measure and analyze processes to identify improvement opportunitiesBasic technical background and understanding of software development principles, including a/b testing and end to end system integrationsAbility to build relationships cross-functionally with multiple teams from areas such as Analytics, Engineering, User Experience, and Supply Chain & Store OperationsComfort navigating ambiguity across complex, multi-system operational flowsStrong interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsPay Range DetailsThe pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws.
